Apply Work permit in NYC visa office at January 2015, please help!!!

I cannot find the information in the forum, so I have to begin a new topic. please help!
I submitted my work permit (postdoctoral fellow) online on Jan.25 in USA, but I haven't heard anything back, the application status is still Open Huh
Now I have a few questions:
1. My citizenship is China, but I submitted the application in USA and now I am in USA, so it should be New York visa office who process my application right?
2. Does anybody have the contact information of NYC visa office? like Phone number.
3. Is there anyone also apply work permit through NYC visa office? Have you got any information?

The processing time for work permits at the NY office is 3 months. You are basically about halfway through the processing time. CIC offices generally do not respond to queries while applications are still within the processing times so its pointless to contact them. All they will say is that your application has been received and in queue or something like that.
