My study permit will expire in 3-4 weeks. I'm currently out of the country and will be returning in a couple of weeks and will be travelling again soon after my return. I want to extend my study permit but the online application states that this is for those applying WITHIN Canada. I was wondering if I can submit an extension request online before returning to save time and hopefully get the permit before I leave again? Did anyone apply for extending the study permit from outside Canada? And what if I return and then apply and leave while I'm on implied status?
