I am going to apply student permit with spouse + 2 kids ( all 4 members) for 2024.
My study program is Master program and it is 2 years. (Manitoba)
I have 100% scholarship and got the offer letter,so no need to pay tution fees for the master program.
Based on IRCC, Is it sufficient 1 year only or 2 years? (Even though, my master program has 2 years.)
1) Only 38346$
2) Or 38346$*2 = 76692$
So based on IRCC how much funds do I need to show for better VISA?
Example for minimum:
38346 + return air fees CAD
76692 + return air fees CAD
You need to go online and price things . You’re living in Canada, not your agent . Why wouldn’t you want to have more just to be on the safe side ?
Do you have ANY concept how expensive it is here ?
ANY concept?
No such thing. Contact the school you plan to attend and see if there are any partial bursaries. Or look at scholarships from your country. If doing a Masters/PhD, you may get reduced tuition plus a TA position. You still need to show funds.
