Apply Student Visa with Dependants

Hi,

My wife wants to apply for student visa in PHD Programe and me & my kid wants to go as dependants. Is it possible? Any suggestions?

well yes that's possible but you have to convince the VO that she was the earning hand in the home and you all are dependent on her.
in your case VO might feel you will not return to your home country so he/she can reject her student visa too.

Possible way out:- let her get Student visa first and then you apply your and your kid visa that can be visitor/open wp/dependent later on.

From where you are planning to file your case i.e. which country.

Its better for your wife to apply first, get her own student permit, settle down in Canada and in school, then you and the kids can apply for Visiting and you from canada apply for open work permit, cause if you all apply together the VO might not believe your wife's intention of going to school in Canada, so be wise about it.
