Need advise from all members, especially senior members. In light of the the fact that the NOC is under review should we be applying now or waiting till it is announced.
My point is this: I am eligible to apply now and qualify under 0213. However last time the changes were announced in Nov 2008 but were applied retrospectively to all applications from Feb 2008 onwards.
If this happens now, my application might get dis-qualified and I will need to start the process all over again, so isn't it better to wait for some time and be sure about the changes so that I can apply if I am still eligible.
I have read other threads where members have commented that once you submit the application it is locked and is processed under the rules applicable at that time, my question is then how were the Nov 2008 changes applied to all applications since Feb 2008.
Maybe I am not understanding fully, request advise from you.
Nobody is sure when the new NOC demand list will be declared. Its expected date is 1st May 2010, but it is not sure.
I am also waiting for new NOC list to apply for permanent visa.
I can not suggest whether to go or wait, but I am still waiting.... :-\ :-\ :-\
I think you are right, nobody is sure, but it makes sense to wait. Atleast when you apply you will be sure that you are applying in the proper category and also not get a surprise later.

Yes you should wait. I think it will be announced next month so you do not have to wait long. No it is not necessary that you application is processed under the rules applicable at that time.

If they received your application before the new rules apply it wont affect your application but if it it received after the effective date then it maybe rejected. Its better to apply ASAP to avoid rejection.

Do have any idea by when this list is going to be introduced? actually it will take more than 15 days time to me to get collected all the documents and proceed the application thats y am worried.

Hi Lakhvinder,
You just need to fill out the form and send them, you dont need to send any other documents so i think you can do this in 2 or 3 days. Secondly with the list no one knows when it will come out before everyone was saying 1st May not its 6th May so the truth is that no one know what the exact date is. So i will recommend you to fill the forms and apply ASAP.

Saki
Thanks saki.

im sorry, but that link is also not authentic. people are spreading rumors, and confusing other members. i think we should only quote the reliable references, not our own assumptions.
