Hello everyone, I would like to ask for some advice. I'm trying to apply my parents for a visit visa to Canada. I'm currently in Canada and they are back home in the Philippines. I created a GcKey account for them because I want to pay for the application fee using my canadian debit card. I tried sending the application forms to them via email but the application forms won't open. I tried to give them instructions to open the Gckey account to get the application form but the account won't open.
Would it be better to have them create their own Gckey account (in the Philippines)? Can I still pay for the application fee using my Canadian debit card? Any advice will be great. Thank you.

If you know your parents’ details, you can fill the application forms yourself on their behalf and do the online submission completely on your own. This is allowed, and many people do this for their own parents. That may be quicker and simpler than trying to get them to open it or use MyCIC, which can be daunting for older people. No signatures are required either. If approved, they’ll only have to worry about submitting their passports to VFS and printing the approval letter.
