Apply for visitor visa to extend stay and then apply for PR

Hello all,

I have few questions regarding visitor visa and may need your input on some things.

I have created express entry profile, and currently 425 score. I have tried IELTS and keep trying to improve score, but my current work permit is expiring pretty soon. Its on Dec 6th 2018.
So,
1. can I get visitor visa to extend my stay?
2. If I can, and apply for visitor visa, will I be able to stay here after 6th Dec?
3. Can I apply for PR while I hold visitor status?

Also, what better ways to stay here in Canada? OR something that I can do which is a better option?

2)once you apply you are on implied status until decision made

3)yes it is possible but your score is still likely too low so not sure what your plan is to increase. You must of course stop working after Dec 6th

Do not bank on extending stay as a visitor to be 6 months could be approved for just a few months or even weeks.

Thanks for response and well, I m really close..

My IELTS score I got today is
Listening 8
Reading 7
Writing 6.5
Speaking 7.5

All I need is 7 in writing and I will have enough score to get invitation, so all I need is buy some time. And Also I have gotten 7 in writing on computer based IELTS, but sometimes I just miss .5 in listening or writing.

After talking to a consultant, they told me that I should extend work permit and they can do it. (Not sure how they do it because I don't know anyway that can be done )

So I was thinking Visitor visa would be an ideal because 6 months would be enough time for me to buy some time.
