Apply for SOWP Extension from my GC Key Account?

Hello,

I wanted to apply for my wife's open work permit extension. I received my PGWP for 3 years a few months back. And now I wanted to extend hers as I have been working full time for 5 months in TEER 1 job.

Can you please guide me as to can I do apply hers from my IRCC GCkey account or should this be done from a separate account belonging to her?

I can not see any option for a case like this in my account. I have to support the application but I dont understand how I can do that in the portal.

You need to apply for your wife's open work permit extension through her own IRCC GCKey account, not yours. You can assist her in preparing the application, but it must be submitted under her name. Log into her account, start a new work permit application, and select "Open Work Permit." Be sure to include all necessary supporting documents, like proof of your full-time employment in a TEER 1 job. If you can't find the option, contact IRCC for further guidance.
