Apply for Open Work Permit at Border?

Hi guys I’m accepted but I was so stupid I did not realize you still need a work permit even as convention refugee. Current timeline is too long.

Is there any way to go to the border and get it done? Anybody done this before? Want to come with me? lol

How have you been supporting yourself while you wait for approval for asylum? Are you intending to work?

Yes I am intending to work I had an online gig that’s now over which was supporting me well. Can I get a work permit at the border? Do you think it’s possible?

No you can’t get one at the border. You need your eligibility interview first. You need to declare your remote work on your taxes or if you apply for any Canadian programs/services
