apply for EE postive LMIA but false information

Here is my friend's concern

when Service Canada called my friend's boss asking about my friend's work experience, my friend's boss gave false info saying my friend has 3 years work experience in Canada and also some work experience back home country. the truth is she only work in Canada for two years and no other work experience back home. Now she got positive LMIA waiting for work permit and then she can apply for express entry. Will CIC check what the boss told Service Canada through phone?
