Appling visiting visa for my family members (wife and child) along with me

Hi All,

I am applying visiting visa thru online for my entire family to visit canada. I have following question , kindly clarify ...

1. online system asking to fill-up below documents for my wife(25) and daughter (2.5 years)

-- Custodianship Declaration IMM5646

actually both are living with me in US on H4 visa and I am on H1-B.

when I opened the document , its more related to studying in canada , and I am not sure why I should fill-up this.

2. Invitation letter - I am planning to visit Naigara waterfalls and visit my brother-in-law , what kind of invitation letter required and any sample letter pls.

3. DO I need add schedule-1 for my wife and child also ?

4. what are other supporting documents that I need to apply ? I am on H1 here and applying for mutliple entry visiting visa.

I applied for my wife and daughter as well, but it didn't ask for 5646.. I submitted 5257 (separately for each of us), 5645, 5713 along with schedule-1.

I am an international student (Masters degree) in the UK and attending an academic conference in Canada, I just check the processing time in the UK and it says 7 days, the conference is for the end of this month, and its as important as life to my career. the online application seems complex, what do i do then and hope it wont stay longer than 7 days..? Advice plzzzzzzzzzzzzz

I would say yes. The checklist is generated based on your answers. So make sure you answer each of the questions correctly.

If the application is asking for 5646 (mandatory/optional), I think it's better to provide than skipping.
