Applied in general category on 1 August, 2014 after rejected under spp. How many days It will take now? My enrollment date in fanshawe college is 2 Sep, 2014. When can I expect any reply from CIC? Please, help me.

All we can do is wait....drop an email to them requesting them to process ur application faster....that is all what we can do.....pray to god and stay positive.....Hope everyone gets their visa on time

Even I have applied on the 11th of August Paper based VFS Pune Under the University category (general). Session commences of 08-Sep-2014, received ext. to join till 22 -Sep-2014.

A friend of mine applied on 1st Aug at vfs bangalore and got approval by 11th....all we can do at this stage is wait coz they don't even reply to emails....let's all keep our fingers crossed

Hi Prashant, I spoke with the Graduate Chair of my university and explained the situation and made them aware that CIC takes around 3 weeks or sometimes even more to approve the student permit, Considering the above factors, they gave me a letter of extension till 22nd September. Moreover the Univ. sent me the LOA on the 02-Aug-2014, hence I couldn't apply earlier.
