Applied for visa online Jun 12 2013

Hello All, I applied for visa online on Jun 12 2013, got prompt to complete medicals. Finished medicals on Jun 17 2013. Received information from the doctor that the results were submitted on Jul 2 2013. How long will it take for me to get Visa. It has already been a month. Any updates on approval for online applications.

i applied from mumbai. applied online directly. going to study Msc . Computer Science in University of Northern British Columbia, BC. Classes Start September. Will i get Visa before that. I have university scholarship and have shown adequate funds.

Yes i am sure you will get it soon. This week or the next. You have lots of time left don't worry. You will get it in time. Sometimes it takes a little longer for processing for certain people.

they will send you an email to send your passport to them. then they would return it to you via post. after that you can book tickets anytime .

Hey! When you applied online, did they ask for the educational documents. If so, how did you submit them? Did you just reply to them on the e-mail they sent you? I applied online on june 6th and still haven't heard back after submitting the educational docs.

ya . they asked me for educational documents. i replied by attaching soft copy on email. after that havent heard from them. hoping to hear a good news soon. fingers crossed#

Could you please tell me the documents you submitted online while applying? I too had applied online on June 30th and haven't heard from them yet.
In addition to the forms, I uploaded financial proof (Letter from bank) and passport.

Hey, I stay at Churchgate, through which consultancy did you apply?
I applied through IDP.
Why did your doctor took so many days to send the report? The clinic(near Breach Candy) where I went had the report ready within 3days.

@ BeccaT - Which CHC did your file go to? The processing time varies from CHC to CHC.

You applied from UAE right? I think it goes to a CHC in Abu Dhabi.
Average processing time for Abu Dhabi is given to be 8 weeks.

Yes, that's right. Tried contacting the embassy to find out if they required any additional documents but it's completely automated. Can't seem to talk to anyone. Also, I heard from from people who applied 2 years back that they generally get it within 2-4 weeks.

Hoping I get mine soon.
