HELP HELP HELP

Hey Everyone,

I'm looking for some help regarding my application for residency under the Family Class - Commonlaw. I applied at the end of June and included and application for an Open Work Permit as mine expires on the 31st of August this year. I have not yet received any information about the work permit and I'm worried I won't receive it in time before my original one expires.
What happens then? Do I apply for a visitor visa?

It often takes 3-4 months for the OWP to be issued. What kind of work permit do you hold now?
