Myself Gurpreet Gosal, the thing is my sister has sponsored my family for immigration. Now I have got acceptance in Univ of ottawa. would it b easier now to get a study visa or are both the cases work independently.?

The two processes are independent of each other and have different requirements. You may still apply for a student visa while you wait for your family's PR visas to be processed.
