Hi!
I received a PFL letter last month and we replied and we got an email saying that our application has been transferred to Etobicoke office.
Anyone here that went thru the same situation? I would like to know how long are they taking to provide an update. I have an INLAND application
Thanks!

It's very unpredictable since your application is now non-standard and has been sent to the Etobicoke office. You could hear something in a few weeks. However more likely, you'll be waiting a number of months.
No idea. Will be for the office to determine if they resolve it favorably or not.
Because it’s an inland application and my tourist visa will expire soon, is it possible that they reply fast, or doesn’t matter at this point?

Yes, I understand it will be up to the officer. However you should have some idea of whether this is something you have a good chance of overcoing IRCC concerns.
They will not reply fast because your application is inland or because of your tourist visa expiry. They will take as much time as they want regardless when your tourist visa expires. Make sure you extend your visitor status.
