I was just wondering if once you have done your medical, and you are waiting for that to be delivered to the immigration office, will it display this on your "Check application status" in the online section of the immigration website? or will it constantly say "in process" until a later stage? Just wondering how specific the status updates are on the site.
Before Application is finalized/DM it can remain in two status "Application Received" and "In Process" in ecas , when you click on these hyperlinks if medicals are received you will see a comment as "Medicals have been received ".

Ah right! so you actually CLICK on the In Process hyperlink and it will supply you with more detail depending on your progress. Whats the average time people have for medical to be "received" after you actually do your medical? I did mine on Friday and the doctor was eMedical enabled.
Depends , How efficient you doc is , My Doc uploaded on say "Monday" , It reflected on "Friday" i.e. 4-5 days . Provided everything is good and there is no abnormality found by RMO in your medicals .

Thanks! I'm not worried about the results at all, I'll pass with flying colours. I have no idea how efficient my doc is, he seemed to be pretty good about that? Hopefully upload by end of week.
Just the times I was curious about. I am guessing 1-2 weeks (average for results to be uploaded) then maybe another week - two before showing on websites as medical received would be a fair comment?
Thanks! That sounds good. I don't think my doc will be sloppy with submitting results. He had a lot of patients, and I think it would be too difficult in administration if he delayed them all. Fingers crossed. Medical is really the lady "hurdle" in the process, so once it's through, I'll be a happy boy.

Oh god, tell me about it. This combined with a whole bunch of personal drama, I'll be very happy to jump down to Niagara and get it done. Few beers will be in order after this. Good luck to you too mate!
