Hello,
I am from Sudan and I applied for a study permit. I submitted my biometrics on May 18th and my application status is "Open" and hasn't change yet. Is it normal to stay as it is for this much time (5 weeks)? Is it a good sign or a bad sign?

Cairo office, I submitted my application online and then travelled to Cairo to submit my biometrics. The only thing tgat changed since then is that the application says "we received your biometrics". The processing time for this office is 8 weeks as per the cic website, but shouldn't have the application status at least changed to "being processed" or something like that?
