Application passed normal processing time

Hi!
I had applied for the study visa on 13th of December, 2017. I had also got my medical done on 12th of January, 2018 after receiving an email from the embassy for the same. It was sent online on 15th of January, 2018 by the physician concerned.

It has been more than 16 weeks which is way more than the normal processing time and I have got no update till date. What could be the possible reason for so much delay and how much more time will it take?

Write to the embassy. Thats the only way.

Did you get the automated mail stating that your request will be processed only if your processing time period has been fulfilled?

Based on clear review on this forum, most people are persistent to say that vfs global Chandigarh always delay in procesising a SP unlike vfs global Delhi which is faster so be a little patient and keeping on writing them(though they barely reply if they reply at all but don't give up)

Hello Everyone.. have submitted my Visiting application since January 24, 2019 and got a procedural fairness letter back on February 8 and ever since there I haven't hear from them till now.. I call VFS severally but they kept saying my passport is still at the embassy and now it over 7months that my application is talking is with them now... please what can i do.

I was told I don't state it in my form that have been denied America visa twice. And i should explain why I don't state that.. And my immigration lawyer have respond to that since February and haven't hear anything ever since then till date.
