Hi, my wife had filled out the permanent resident travel document application for she went to the VAC in Costa Rica and they said it has to be all typed and not handwritten at all.... is that a new rule or something I mean I remember filling out my wife's sponsorship paper with black ink. Can someone tell me please?

It must be typed in a computer and validated to generate bar codes .
