Application for study permit from Nigeria

Hello, I applied for a Canadian study Permit in November through the vfs office in Lekki, Lagos, Nigeria. I have been waiting for a reply ever since. Iam getting worried because I am to resume at Brandon University by 2nd of January 2019.

Did you not check the processing time which from Nigeria is quoted as 17 weeks currently.
