Application for Canadian Visitor Visa from India

Hi,

My spouse is planning to apply for canada visitor visa from India. Is it recommended to apply online or thru VAC paper application ? She has H4 visa from USA and we plan to visit Canada for a day only as part of a Alaska Cruise stop-over at Victoria BC. She is financially dependent on me.

What all documents do I need to submit ?

Your spouse can choose to apply either online or paper.

Hi,
I am planning to bring my wife on visitor visa. Also I tried applying for Spouse visa for my wife, but it was returned, because i could not attach the tax returns. Would her coming on visitor visa affect the Spouse visa?

Hey Sreeram,

I am on the same boat. However, my PR file is under process and I am going to add my spouse's file this week

I have applied for Visit visa for my wife, and she received her medicals after 38 days
She provided her medicals three days ago, hopefully, she will get PPR soon.

She is financially depended on me

Hi,
I am planning to bring my wife on visitor visa. At the same time I have applied for her spouse visa. I am currently in edmonton on a PR visa. The Question that i ask is.... Is it advisable to apply for visitor visa while the Spouse visa is in process.., If yes, when the spouse visa requests for her passport for visa stamping, and at that time she is on visitor visa in Canada, would she have to go back to india for stamping???
