Application Filed Post 20th October 2014, Applied Inside Canada:

My guess is CIC is not returning all applications saying CEC Cap Reached those applied post 20th October 2014. My guess might be wrong.

I have seen people whose file received on 31st December, package returned but there are few, applied before that still waiting to get the file back.

Let's discuss what's going on in CIC, finger crossed, hope my guess is correct.

Guys..look at the Oct 2014 thread and there are couple of people who got their CC charged this week and got the AOR withing 2 days...Their file reached on 21st Oct 2014....but I havent seen anyone beyond 21st Oct being charged.....

Mine received on 4th December. Still waiting for the return packet. Have changed address though so it is more pain to wait for it. Any number where we can call and ask more info within Canada?

I have applied under CEC with NOC 2232, but I don't have any news from CIC yet, can any one plz update what's happening with the applications that are applied after oct 2014.

Are we getting back all the applications, bcoz the cap of 8000 has been filled or based on real assessment they are returning back, totally confused and waiting for some news from CIC.

If cap has been filled, why CIC is taking time to return the file? It's been exact 4 months. (my file as received on 14 Nov 2014).

I suggest do not wait for your application to be returned. Apply under Express Entry asap.
