Application approved on CIC, now shows Document Invalid at NDVO

Hi Experts,

My family application is approved. And CIC has updated that my spouse's document is invalid now. I am yet to receive my passports. Her passport is expiring in Feb 2019. Not sure if any one else has experienced this situation. I see two records for my spouse one with Valid document and the other with Invalid Document.

Please help. I am worried now.

Okay - got our passports with visa stamped. Basically nothing to worry. My spouse's passport was stamped with a different visa issue date. Nothing else.
Its just they reconsider on the stamping based on your passport expiry date. I think this issue would come up if your passport expiry is within 1 year of visa issue date. I would suggest make sure you at least have 3 to 4 years of buffer for your PP expiry date.So no worries, relax!

Hi, I have applied online tourist visa application through cic.gc.ca, after submission of my application, i have submitted my biometrics after that i received a mail "REQUEST FOR ORIGINAL PASSPORT" I submitted my passport, My TRV stamped on my passport and cic.gc.ca shows your application is approved. When i planned my specific travel plan, I reached at IGIA Delhi Airport. They refused me to travel and that day my status changed and my document shows "your document is Invalid" at counterfoil status. After that i checked First window of cic account now shows your application is approved.

Its quite unusual. never seen this thing happened in the past. Did you try to see them at NDVO or Chandigarh office at least?

Hi! Could you please help? I'm in the same situation. I have my student visa but they denied my entry yesterday at IGI Airport, Delhi. They said as per the Canadian Embassy, 'You can not board'. I just checked the status and it says the following:

Status: YOUR DOCUMENT IS INVALID
However, on the main window it says, Approved

Please help! What is this? What to do now?
