Hi All,

I applied on July 2010 and below is the status that I have on the Ecas.

1. We received your application for permanent residence on August 17, 2010.
2. We started processing your application on March 23, 2012.
3. Medical results have been received.
4. A decision has been made on your application. The office will contact you concerning this decision.

Islamabad Embassy requested for my passport and was submitted on April 13 2012. This status just changed last night. Would anyone please be able to help what this means?

The processing of your file is done...Decision is made from yr Application and soon you will get yr passport with VISA ...

WOW . . . That’s a stress reliever. I was of the opinion that something went wrong. I had heard of 2 folklore situations namely

A) If you get Decision Made status prior your passport return then God help you.
B) If you get Decision Made status prior your medicals then God help you.

I hope it’s none of the above as I have my medicals done as mentioned on the status, however I haven’t received my passport back as of yet. I sent it to the Embassy on 13th April 2012 and to-date I have no update regarding that.
