Applicant under Provincial Nominee Program need to return

I came to Canada in February 2010 for an MNC under ICT and has been working in Manitoba. I applied for MPNP in May 2014 and received the approval in November 2014. My MPNP approval letter had the NOC Code and also the name of my current employer. I applied for open work permit, but it was refused since it had the NOC code and the current employer name, I was asked to apply under LMO Exempt category. Now since my work permit is already expired and I am under restoration status my current employer is asking me to return to my country. I had already applied for PR to CIC using my MPNP, but haven't received my AOR.

Now in this situation after I go back what will be the best option? Withdraw my current application and go for an Xpress Entry PR(or any other category). Should I have to notify the province.
