I've just received an email from Manila Visa Office requesting a fully completed Appendix A (No request for my passport, only for Appendix A sheet).
They said in the email 'MUST send your package by COURIER TO:', and I just wanted to ask you guys how you have sent this document.
Did you use Canada Post? Or did you use some courier company such as UPS, DHL, etc,,?
It's just a piece of paper in an envelope and no passport, but is it better if we still use a courier company??
Thank you for your help in advance!! Your advice will be super appreciated!
Send it with canada post registered mail. You can track it and it won't get lost. It may be cheaper than fed ex, dhl..etc...we sent it as registered mail
Thank you guys for such prompt replies!! Much appreciated!
thanh245, do you happen to remember how much the registered mail was??
And bartjones, you were also dealing with Manila Office hey? Did you ask them how you send the document? I'm a little scared to only email them the scanned document where they specifically say in the email to send it by courier in big letters like that.. What sort of circumstances and you ended up emailing a scanned copy of Appendix A??

Yes, it was Manila. In our case they asked for the Appendix A and two other original docs. I emailed them and asked them if I needed to send an original Appendix A. They said that a scanned copy of Appendix A was fine. So, I suggest you respond to their email request and ask if a scanned/emailed copy of Appendix A is okay. You might save yourself some time and money.
