How does an appeal gets processed or get a final result? would it take a year or two?
I got my PR Refusal last May 28. The following day i hired a lawyer and that same day my employer emailed our MP here in Nova Scotia for help.
My employer sent a letter to CIC. Im just lucky that i have a supportive boss.
Would any of you knows any case that has the same as mine and how long was it processed and did they win the case?

I'm soo sorry. It depends on the reason. If it's due to criminality or security on your record, that can be hard! (but nothing is impossible just being realistic). Not passing security is ALMOST impossible to overturn. Criminality and such,,there's a route to appeal inadmissibility. If it is due to health and fear of weighing on the canadian health system, there is some wiggle room. It could take excess of 24 months. Key is the reason for refusal
