according to this website

its possible to travel by car without PR card, if you are from visa except country.
I am thinking of driving to the US while I am waiting for PR card.
Has anyone done that without any hassle on the border?

Thats exactly what border agent told me. I have US visa and he said I can travel without PR card by road and not by air.
