Hi All,

Recieved AOR from Buffalo Office:)
Thought they will put some hard deadline..like if you dont hear from us in XX weeks/months , you can contact us..so and so..like in case of one of my relative filed in ND.

Its all plain stuff. with a new file no# and status got changed to recieved by visa office..thats it..

Wondering the speculation that they are processing Octobar'08 app at Buffalo..and once they hit 2009..we all can book tickets in advance:):)...walla..

Hi CanadaCanada,

COngrats, when had u sent ur full application to buffalo., after how many days u got AOR?

also whats written on ur AOR letter abt processing times?

pls let me know.

Thanks,

Full app recieved at Buffalo in 3rd or 4th Sept. So i got AOR in 3 weeks.
No time line or anything on that line....no mention about how long it might take..
All it mentioned is, final evaluation will be carried out and you will be notified. Also mentioned that once evaluation is carried out they will also mention whether I need to come for the interview and so on.

NOT SURE, other ppl from Buffalo got AOR with same verbose..hard to believe I will have diff verbose then the rest...just checking...

So its like this is your new file no#, and we will let you know what next after we do the evaluation and so on...and please keep quite till then...lol

Is this what you guys got.....

thanks for sharing the details, mine reached buffalo on 17th sept..

anyone want to share whats in their AOR from Buffalo Office....just want to know is the AOR verbose is generic to all applicants....

Pretty much the same as you.
I think that's what we all get - and mine was received in June 2009....

I sent my full application to buffalo yesterday, i have seen in this forum that some buffalo applicants got responce from buffalo after the AOR states that they take up to 52 week to process applications recieved by their office from the date of reciept.

Thats what I am trying to understand..if someone's AOR mentions some kind of loose time line such as 52 weeks/ 9 months and so on..assuming these were AOR's before May/June. And now, we the late senders get AOR without any time line...do u need to read between lines...it can be both..

1. early in 2009 they (IO's) had some estimates on how long it might take once they got our app..so the loose timeline was mentioned. But they dont know it anymore and nada on timeline...

or
2. Now IO at Buffalo know that once they start looking at new pools (38 list), it will like zip zap zoo..so they dont want to mention anything on time line....

what you guys think? I believe with the 38 occupation list candidates..there are not many applications..probably lot lesser then India...so hey cross finger...we should see floods of medical request starting November....
