Wanted to know what is ECAS.

I googled it and found its an ELECTRONIC Client Accessing System to check the status of the application...but one needs to have UCI number..where can i get that from?

You can use your application number and check your status...but it might take couple of days before your details will be available in ECAS...

mine took almost a week to show up there...

From where will I get the application number..and from where I can log in from ecas..

Its been more than 6 days.. i still do not have the ECAS access.. What is the the timeline in which one should expect that the access will be there?

There is no specific time period for getting ECAS access. Its just random.

Qs for Champion,

What do you mean by Ecas ..2 lines or 3 lines...in my ecas its showing in progress and when I click that there are 2 statements..one say application submitted on 2nd and the the second statement it says, application received on 3rd...is it normal....what should I wait for ..I mean what ideal update?

Par for the course. 3rd line will get added after medicals pass and more lines might get added if they ask for additional documentation.
