Today I was informed by one of the medical clinics that my acknowledgement letter that contains IFHP (Interim Federal Health Insurance) will be expired this September. Which is exactly one year after I received my AOC. Is that even possible? I thought the IFHP is valid until that person is eligible for MSP. I live in BC and haven't got my refugee ID yet.

This is not possible at all. Check out this paragraph from IRCC website:
“Basic, supplemental and prescription drug coverage continues until the beneficiary leaves Canada or becomes eligible for provincial or territorial health insurance.”

Exactly, I have seen this and was surprised to know they expire. But somehow the clinic was able to see it online from their end and stated the exact date I received the AOC one year before.
