Anyone who is in RN (Registered Nurse) category and has filed their application in July 2009 as a PA (Primary applicant), pls let me know if you have got AOR yet..

I have filed app on 9th July 2009.

June 4 - sent application to Nova Scotia via Fedex.
June 7 - application received in Nova Scotia (as per fedex' record)
June 9 - application received in Nova Scotia (according to AOR)
July 3 - draft encashed
July 28 - received AOR via email. For submission now of full application to local visa office.

I am a Filipino residing in Cayman Islands. I applied under NOC 3152 (Registered Nurse). I'll be submitting my full application to visa office in Jamaica.

Actually I used to be in NJ, US for last 3 yrs working as a Telemetry RN in one of top medical center.

But since, my visa got expired I had to come back to India. I still have a valid RN license to practice in NJ, US till 2011. In US I did my Credential evaluation (assessment) of my nursing degree.

Now on 9th July I filed my application at Nova scotia, Canada.

I wanted to know - to practice in toronto (ontario), canada will my US RN license be helpful ? I am sure I will need to registered myself in ontario state. but how ? Can you pls help me on that front ?

Also, pls give your timeline for case processing. That will give me some indication on how it will get processed.
