I am new to this forum,want to know anyone waiting for PPR from London office ,after doing medicals atleast 8 months before.If yes plz share your experiences.
I am a post Feb 2008 applicants,medical done in Oct 2010 still waiting for PPR.
I did my medicals June 27, 2010 got the passport request 12 April 2011 and just recived my passport with visa 2 days ago just 20 days before it's expiry. so i waited 10 months from medicals (London office) till i got the passport request and waited 6 weeks for them to print the visa on it keep the faith.
I did my medicals in Oct 2010 still waiting for PPR.
I think if we could mention any specific circumstances/situation for our case it will be useful such as no of countries lived after age of 18,any med furtherance test,any additional docs submitted etc as these factors mainly contribute to time delay.Mine are follows.
1) Subjected to a re xray ,submitted to London on 15th of Dec
2) lived in 4 countries after age of 18

If you guys think you've waited a long time, well THINK AGAIN, as I got my medical request + police certificates back in June 2009, meds sumitted July 09, and then ABSOLUTELY NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOTHING citing "routine backround inquiries" till 11 May 2011 when they sent a hard copy letter by ordinary "air mail" which too 11 days to come to UAE requesting another medicals for all family (6 peole) and fresh police certificates for me & wife! I sent medics already on 3 rd of June and i just sent police certs today!!
Bottom line, keep cool man, any thing can happen with these guys, and they're looooooooooooooooooong winded as well!
