Anyone sponsoring spouse in Sri Lanka

I have applied in august and still waiting for final Conformation...anyone applied to sponsor spouse in Sri Lanka and still waiting for approval. :-X ??? 8)

Hi Gayan,

Our docs were sent to the Colombo office on the 20th of December 2010 and I got my approval letter as a sponsor last week. The letter stated that my documents were recieved on the 4th of Nov 201 by the mississauga office.

I had also asked a similar question on this forum and another member replied saying that if everything is ok, it should take 8 months from the time they recieve the docs in mississauga to recieve the PR if and most of that time (6 months) is taken up by the colombo processing office.
