just wondering if there are others like myself who have been in process on ecas (with date when processing started, not just rvbo details) for five months or more?
i've been in process since november 3rd 2010 (details state "we started processing your file on nov. 3rd..." not exact words mbe but to that effect), had a request for additional documents a few days after going in process, sent those in december, and am now hoping the meds request is on its way...
anyone who's gone through something similar? it's just confusing as i sent our 120 day docs late in november went in process just a few days later so everything was proceeding quickly and now there's this wait (not long by cic standards to be sure but still nerve-wracking). so i'd like to get in touch with anyone who's having the same experience.
Yes friend , mine started in process on 26 oct 2010, they asked me no any docs nothing at all. My NOC is also the same as yours. Just waiting ... And waiting
I am in the same boat with you all. My case changed to in process on november 2010; weeks before, they sent an e-mail saying that my application was waiting for initial review. Then, it changed to In process and they wrote they started to processing my application on november 23 2010.
No additional docs were requested, and have not heard from them since...
They have not contacted my employer... What is CIC doing besides driving us nuts? No idea.....
What a thread! What a question! Man, I hope this question is not aimed at pre feb2008 Applicants. (LOL)
Man, We've been waiting for ages with that damned status "In-process". Some of us > than 40 Months.
My "In-Process"Duration calculation results
From and including: Thursday, 8 November 2007
To and including: Saturday, 9 April 2011
It is 1249 days from the start date to the end date, end date included
Or 3 years, 5 months, 2 days including the end date
Alternative time units
1249 days can be converted to one of these units:
107,913,600 seconds
1,798,560 minutes
29,976 hours
178 weeks (rounded down)
I am 0213 and I got mine into IN PROCESS on October 2010 and since then 3 rounds of additional docs requested and I provided almost all; some I couldnt. I wrote explanation.
its been 6 months since my IN PROCESS, but recently I got a letter that I might be called to an Interview but no date has been mentioned. I have been told to wait for around 2.5 years. So here I am, waiting !
so although we have different vos, we're going through pretty much the same thing. anyone with a consultant who's providing information?
@schwarzeradler my heart goes out to you... what else can i say... i knew the process for canada was taking years, so i never considered applying - but when they started advertising it as 6 to 12 months (talk about false representation!!!), i applied... and here i am... hoping, waiting as we all are
@ jnathan - WHERE is this two and a half years coming from?! who told you you needed to wait that long? that's just insane... please share where you got this information? (i'm hoping you had a nightmare and dreamt it :'()
let's keep in touch!
all the best... wishing everyone a request for medicals soon :-*
My CHC said to me. They said if I am selected for an interview, it could take 2.5 years as the queue is that long. the letter did not clarify if the queue was for my CHC only or for other CHC's in the whole world.

I sent to them an an e.mail in June 2010 and they replied "your application is being processed." I do no know if it means the same like in process. Please help clarify me
