anyone had experience in exchanging US DL to Ontario DL ? please share

I just had a talk with a relative who runs a driving school business from past 25years.
he said I will be getting G2 license and just need to give one test and if passed then will get G

I did talk to drivetest today. She said it really depends on the drivetest place you go to. Some are anal about paperwork and years/months driven whereas some aren't. I told her it reminded me of CIC... :

Today I went to exchange my US DL

and I got G2

(I was tensed as few said G1 and few G2 but Thank God...! )

BTW
they took my US DL... saying they will return it to DMV

does this happens?

Yep. They took my husband's too haha. Glad to hear you got your G2, good luck with the 400 highway test when it comes time to do it for your G, I am crazy anxious about it!!
