Did you find out if a transit visa is required for UK? My agent advised me to not to fly BA because of this. He told we will have to contact British High Commission to confirm the requirement of visa.

I have Confirmed It... 5 hour Layover Don't Need a transit Visa.

Heyy.. I booked the ticket from british airways website. It is clearly mentioned over there that if your stay is over 24 hrs then u will require transit visa. In this case, the stay will only be of 5 hrs so no transit visa required

you dont need a visa if your stay is less than 24 hours...you can also go out of the airport and see some sites in London.....i am also planning to book the same flight with a layover of 10 hrs.... look at the link below

I have visited UK twice, they are so strict u need visa to see some sites in london, it is clearly written you are not visa national all the best and happy journey You will see beautiful views from the windows london eye and everything looks superb
