Anyone else sponsoring w/net income 0?

So I know I've asked before and the income bracket doesn't apply to sponsors sponsoring their spouses. I'm just wondering if anyone else wrote 0 in the net income for the past 12 months. I live in the US w/my husband and he works fulltime while I am a stay at home mom to our children. So I wrote 0 for our net income. I did state several times in my application that he is the sole provider in our family and i provided our joint income statement for 2011 and also the last 12 months pay stubs of my husband's, as well as his corporate income tax of 2011 cause he has a small business on the side. Also a letter from my parents about us being able to live w/them when we move to Canada until we are settled in w/jobs, etc. Should be okay right?

It should be fine as long as they know your husband works. If neither of you were working, they might be worried

At the time when we sent in our application, my option C from 2010 stated my income as zero. The reason for this is that I was finishing up law school and my income was from student loans. I have since filed my 2011 income tax and will have to send in a new option C when they start processing our app, showing my status as married and that I had income last year. I am now back in school, but I am hoping they will take into consideration my education (law/accounting) and know that I will be able to support my husband very well after I finish this year of school.

Do you think they will request for the most recent year (i.e. 2011), or for many, 2010 will be okay (for those of us who filed before receiving official tax assessments for 2011)??

The Chinese income tax assessment that I submitted does not show "single" or "married". It just shows that I have been paying income tax. I also noted that my employer pays the income tax on my behalf, so I have never actually filed my own tax returns in China. This is the way it works over here, which is kind of nice, as it takes the responsibility away from me and shifts it on my employer (if there was a problem).

I did not include bank statements or anything else showing how much we have saved in the bank. I didn't feel it was necessary, as I included statements of earnings from my employer, along with pay stubs from July 2011 to February 2012.

I read here and on other forums that as long as you show you have been working and have not been in receipt of government assistance, or you have not been bankrupt, that is all they care about...so I don't think CIC will request the Option C for 2011...

But the option c is the PROOF your not on social assistance. BTW I didn't send in ANY bank statements at all. Just an employment letter and option c.
