I don't think that you will get your decision before 16th January, processing time is 12 weeks right now

This is walking on thin ice. IRCC will take years to come back to the actual 20 days processing time. Make sure you keep your options ready for any delays. As of 29th Dec the processing time is 12 weeks for SP lodged outside Canada.
