Anybody Still Waiting For Jan 13 Admission Decision.

I Am just wondering if anyone is still waiting to get a decision for university admission for winter session.

I applied for UOIT MITS and my file is still under review from July ending.
I have called them and they adviced it's still with the faculty for a decision.

I am the only one still waiting?

Should I be worried?

I have a degree from a university in the UK with a high 2.1 in Computer Science.

please let me know your opinions and u there is anyone still waiting, please let me know as I am very worried honestly.

You are not alone..i applied to 3 universities...Mcmaster, University Of guelph..and Carleton university.....still waiting...sometimes..i wonder..whether canadian univ.. don"t know..that international student also need to apply for visa.. So, why they are taking so much time.. :-\

me too agree wid u ...why don't these canadian institutes take international student's applications seriously,,..there are loads of things to be done before we cud actually file for visa....so there shuld be a deadline issued to canadian institutes to process applications soon..

The more time if they are taking there is a high chance that you might be declined or have been put on the waiting list.

I have been waitlisted by simon fraser university because i was three percent short on the set admission requirement.

They received my docs on August 1. Two and a half months have passed by since then

They would make a final decision on my case after reviewing all the applications received by them

Since I can no longer wait for their decision I am going with another CAD univ for my study permit.

I would be surprised if I was put on other waiting list as I met all the admission requirements.

I guess I just have to wait to see what they come up with on this one

i applied to concordia on september 1 ... waiting for the decision

i got reply from SFU, please check with ur uni's.. as it will be too late for jan intake
