If you overall academics are good then i think one module will not create any problem...........

I applied for research degree for both universities but they don't have supervisor for my research area, they asked me for taught M.Sc. course, I preferred Concordia because i think once i am there i can switch to research degree..........
I have already a Masters in Computer Science with 7 years development experience ...............

I think IELTS score with overall 6.5 and one band 5.5 is not a big issue for visa time....but some universities provide min. band score for each module in that case it will create problem....rest of the things is ok....

yup bro many university has 6 each requiremnt.... except few of them(which had not mentioned on there website) .... so the university which havnt mentioned 6 each requiremnt , so they just require 6.5 bands overall....wat say??? ??? ???

if they didn't mentioned individual band score then they required only 6.5 overall....I enquired same thing with University of Manitoba.....they told that they are not looking for individual score they required only overall band score.... my case is also same like yours my one band score is 5.5 but got admitted in University of Ottawa....
