I got ITA under the Federal Skilled Worker Program and I am in the process of collecting all the documents. I used NOC 4152 Social workers before getting ITA and my reference letter ( work experience outside Canada) also says I was hired as a social worker. the thing is that I am not a registered social worker in Canada( in my home country there is not registration required, so I can I still use NOC 4152 or do I have to change NOC to one similar (eg.Social and community service workers (4212)? my education is from Canada, but work experience is not in Canada. Any help? Thank you

You are fine to apply under the social worker NOC. You will be asked as part of the application process whether you know if your occupation is regulated or requires licensure. Has no impact whether you are registered or not. Obviously if you are not in Canada, the expectation is that you are not registered or licensed by a Canadian body.
