any international student with spouse who was overstayed in another country illegally? please help

Hello I m a PhD from Pakistan and want to apply for a 2 year postgraduate diploma in a college in Canada for immigration purposes. Problem is my husband had overstayed in uk for some years and now he has put up a case but it will not be in his favor but that is ok he wants to come back. he will come back in January but we dont know if they will deport him or let him go willingly? after he comes back i m planning to apply for college and want to go with him to Canada. They given work permits to international student's spouses right? But here i dnt know if the embassy with prove it against him and will refuse mine too? Anyone anyone who has even a little bit similar situation please share or any advice is appreciated.

With the overstay, your husband has little chance of being approved for a work permit. If he is deported from the UK, he has pretty much zero chance.

Why don't you apply first and then apply for your husband once you are in Canada ...
