Any idea of what the requested documents could be?

1. My ecas was updated with this message yesterday while my test is scheduled for February 22, 2018.
2. “We sent you correspondence on February 15, 2018. If you have not yet provided the information or the requested documents, please do so as soon as possible. Please wait until you receive the correspondence before sending us additional information, as the correspondence will outline all information that is required.“
3. Anyone has an idea of what this could be? Perhaps the wording can give an idea? If it was an RQ would the notice wording be identical?
4. If it happens that I already have the requested documents would it be a good idea to bring them during my test instead of sending them by mail ?

No one here knows what information or documents the request is for. It is true that this most commonly means a Finger Print request. Given the timing it is MOST LIKELY a Finger Print request.

But it could be a number of other requests, ranging from a request for a particular document or specific information, to RQ CIT 0171 or PPQ - QAE CIT 0205, which are requests for a number of documents and information related to showing actual presence in Canada.

Thus, while it quite likely is merely a Finger Print request, you cannot know what it actually is until you receive it. Which you should within a week or two. No need to worry. Not much good trying to guess what it is. You need the correspondence sent in order to properly obtain and submit the Finger Prints, at least to do so in a way which will best expedite processing.

Go with the flow.
