Any hope for visa for jan intake?

Hello guys

I reapplied for student visa on 17th dec under non spp. And it was under processing from 20dec. Do u guys think i can still get a visa for jan intake?

My classes start from jan 10th.

I Saw two of the members from our forum were asked to differ their letters for may intake. They got their passports last week.

So i was worried weather they ll consider my visa for this jan intake.
They mentioned on the check list that applications submitted after 20 dec will not likely to be processed.

So what do u guys think? No more visas for jan intake?

i have this same feeling.having sleepless nights
applied DEC 3 [under processing]
classes from JAN 3 [ just 3 working days left...29,30,30 dec]
although i can register for my course as late as jan 16
but i mentioned Jan 3 as the course commencement Date in the application form.
i cant afford a deferment...

same situation here buddy.. 25,26,27,28 are holidays we have to wait till 30th... we cant do anything else...

Man, it happens. Just stay calm & Pray to Allah. Your parents prayers will help you too. My Friend got his visa two days after classes . and he flew immediately

yes man...i too still have only 3 working days this month and 4 working days in jan before my clases start.

hope these 7 working days will do some magic.

i was refused for this same intake. i aplied on nov 21 under spp and got refused on 13 dec stating that i ll not leave canada. bcause my parents income or assets wil not justify my study and course mismatch.

the mistake i have done was i have shown father income below 2 lakh. and not written sop reg my slection of course.

now i have applied under non-spp on dec 17 and frm 20th dec it reached CHC delhi.this time i included tax papers of parents more than 3 lakh per year and also included CA statement stating all immovabble and movable assets. also a cover letter explaining why canada and why the course etc etc. I have also attached my medical report though it is not mentioned in the general(non-spp) checklist.


hope they ll get me thro this time.

In the month of jan they have 3rd holiday and 8 and 9th (sat n sun).

High tension is building and stressed out. I again have only sep intke for my course. cant wait too long.

one person frm this forum applied on nov got a reply last week. its a call for interview. and they have asked him to differ his offer letter to may intake as they have vacation now and then book for interview.

one of my friend applied on nov 11 & got his passport back on dec 25th. he was told to take up additional medical tests and then drop the passport after feb. his classes start from 4th jan and he was not even told to differ his offer letter.

so, things r going like this.

hey All!! interesting discussion going on...!

well mine is the somewht same case as urs.... i filed on 2nd dec n now recieved a letter for an interview... they asked me to defer my course... my college commencement date is 6th jan 2011... and can be valid tilll 24th jan 2011... but now i am requesting college to defer for 1 week(uptil feb 2011) and if not possible then for may 2011 intake... but i hope i vl get deferment letter for this intake only... meanwhile my interview will be arranged so kept both the options open.... Hope everything goes well n fine..

dont know what will happen... but be positive... its delay but atleast not been rejected....

the colg or the Uni would'nt be defering a student for the same intake..that's for sure
a deferment means jan to May,May to Sept or Sep to Jan

hmm lets wait and hope for the best.

I am in the most worst condition. Seneca usually dont give more than 5 days after clas start.

Do they consider our start date and then process ?
