Any advantage having a relative in canada under the new express entry process?

Dear experts,
I have my maternal aunt in Canada. I heard from one agency that this will give additional points for me but another agency mentioned that as per the new Express entry process, this is not counted.

Kindly clarify.

It will not award you points under EE CRS. However you will get 5 points under FSW to clear the threshold of 67 points.

Right, remember that in order for you to be eligible for Express Entry, you need to pass the FSW criteria. Here is where having a relative in Canada will only count (due to +5 to get 67 threshold).
