IRCC website states that reference letters must include "annual salary plus benefits". My employment contract specifies monthly salary. My questions are:
How must the "annual salary" be calculated? Is it as easy as multiplying my monthly salary by 12 (e.g., USD 1,000 x 12 = USD 12,000)? Or should it reflect the salary actually received during a particular year (by taking into account paid/unpaid vacations used, etc.)?
Can the letter include just monthly salary (or maybe both months and annual salary)?

Cool, what if I've been working at a job for less than 1 year - e.g., 6 months- should I refer to my annual salary as $6,000 ($1,000x6) or $12,000 ($1,000x12)?
