I'm an American freelancer and am interested in doing contract work for a Canadian company. I would be living/working in the United States and all work would be done online. Is there anything that the Canadian company or I need to do to make sure we're satisfying legal requirements? I would be working as an individual and not as a company and would not be a permanent or full-time employee.
