Hello,

I have a question about amendment of study permit. If i am not a full time student this academic term because the course i wish to take is full, will i be able to apply for amendment of study permit so that i can work off campus during summer. And if CIC reject my request for amendment, will they cancel my current study permit?

Thank you everyone :)) :)

No - you can't amend your study permit.

Taking a part time course load is risky and could put your PGWP in jeopardy. If this is your last semester of studies and you just need a few more courses to complete your degree or diploma - then being a part time student is fine and you can continue working - and you will qualify for a PGWP.

Otherwise you should remain a full time student even if this means taking courses you don't need.
